Unraveling Air Disasters: Investigating Causes, Lessons, and Safety Measures

EgyptAir Flight 990 , a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, was taking off on its routine flight from Los Angeles to Cairo with a mid-stop break at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on October 31, 1999. The routine flight then became a tragedy that resulted in the loss of 217 passengers on board and left some questions in the air.
