Global Reactions and Updates on Air India Flight AI171 Crash

 As of June 14, 2025, the investigation into the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI171, which occurred shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, continues. The crash resulted in the deaths of 241 individuals on board and at least 33 people on the ground. Remarkably, one passenger, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, survived the incident and is currently recovering in the hospital.

The crash occurred approximately 30 seconds after takeoff, with the aircraft reaching an altitude of 625 feet before descending rapidly.

As of June 14, only a small number of identifications had been confirmed, with many families still awaiting news. The United Kingdom, in particular, has expressed deep sorrow, as 53 British nationals were among the victims.
